How Does It Work?
Shade Disk is meant to be a comfort product and reduce the sun's glare while out in the sun. While our shade might make the sun feel cooler on your skin, there are many factors that can cause harmful UV rays to reach your skin. We always recommend safe sunscreen practices with a high SPF for you and your little ones while outdoors! (See FAQ's for more.)
The Attachment Arm (Gear Tie®) is a bendable and reusable grippy rubber coated wire allowing Shade Disk® to attach to railings of almost any shape and material including metal, wood, plastic & wicker. Coil the Attachment Arm (Gear Tie®) around the railing 2-3 times and you're good to go! You can also keep the Arm (Gear Tie®) straight like a stake and use Shade Disk® in the sand or in a beverage ice-bucket! When you're finished, simply coil the Arm (Gear Tie®) up around your hand and slide it back into the pouch! The shade canopy itself twist-folds like the windshield shade in your car, making our mini-shade the lightest and most portable on the market.
